Except for Kangana Ranaut, ‘We Never Approached Other Actresses.’ Sita Writer Manoj Muntashir
Kangana Ranaut has announced a new film, The Incarnation: Sita, following the success of Thalaivii. The casting choice for the film has been in the news, with rumors claiming that Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were approached for the role of Sita. However, the scriptwriter has now stated that Kangana Ranaut was the only celebrity approached for the role.
KV Vijayendra Prasad, Manoj Muntashir, and Desai himself wrote the screenplay for Alaukik Desai’s film. Saloni Sharma and Anshita Desai are the producers. Muntashir, who co-wrote the piece with Desai, recently talked about the rumors in a recent interview.
“I am happy to have Kangana play Sita,” he told the Free Press Journal. We put her at the top of our priority list. There were rumors that celebrities like Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone had been approached for the project, however, this was not true. “The Sita Devi we’ve sketched has many hues, and Kangana Ranaut is the ideal cast in that regard.” He further stated that after the film is out in theatres, the audience will be unable to imagine anyone other than Kangana Ranaut. “We never sought other actresses since Kangana was the only one we wanted to portray the lead.”
When they discussed the topic, Muntashir admired Kangana and remarked that she had a sparkle in her eye. “With the majority of actresses, you’ll have to explain Sita’s DNA to them. However, Kangana is Sita. Kangana is already in that zone; you don’t have to force her into it. She was raised in a particular way and is profoundly spiritual. As a result, it comes naturally to her.”
“My Sita is not shy, timid, or vulnerable, and Kangana has a strong personality. She is a person who takes a stand and makes choices. Sita must be the face of Indian feminism; she must be a role model.” As he added the lines to explain the characters and feel for the film.
This film is about Sita’s existence before marriage as the daughter of Bhumi (the earth) and the adoptive daughter of King Janaka of Videha and his wife, Queen Sunayana, is depicted in The Incarnation: Sita. He said he hasn’t finished the final script yet, but that it will be a career-defining effort for everyone involved.
